He's considered by most to be the eternal bachelor.
So it may come as a surprise to fans that Hugh Grant has spoken out in support of gay marriage.
The Notting Hill star has filmed a video on behalf of the Out4Marriage campaign, which asks for equal marital rights for gay couples.
He said: "I'm not a massive believer in marriage, I think my own biography is testament to that. But I do think that love is the same for everyone."
The actor, who has previously dated Elizabeth Hurley and Jemima Khan, added: "I do think that everyone should have the same rights. If you want to get married, whether you're gay, straight, transgender (or) whatever, you should definitely be allowed to do that."
Hugh joins Sir Richard Branson, Paloma Faith and The Saturdays in recording promotional material for the campaign.
