Comedians Dawn French and Lenny Henry were granted a divorce on Monday on the grounds of his "unreasonable behaviour".
The couple, who separated after 25-years of marriage earlier this year, were not present at London's High Court to hear District Judge Penny Cushing grant a "quickie divorce".
No details about the 'unreasonable behaviour' are known.
In one court document, 53-year-old Dawn confirms that the behaviour was continuing.
And in another court paper, Lenny, 52, - named as respondent – states he does not intend to defend the case and didn't object to paying the cost of proceedings.
The pair (pictured in June 2009) first met in 1981, and were married in 1984. They adopted their daughter Billie in 1991.
When their separation was first announced in April of this year, a spokesman said it was "entirely amicable".
Speaking after the split, Dawn confirmed: "Remarkably, we seem to have shifted with relative ease from a 25-year marriage to a lasting friendship.
"I am amazed by us - there is no war, we have turned out to be the best of friends."
