Myleene heads stateside to prepare for I'm A Celebrity role

Tuesday May 26, 2009

With so much to celebrate at the moment it's little wonder Myleene Klass had such a broad smile on her face as she prepared to board a flight to Miami on Saturday.

Having just finished mingling with stars in Cannes while recording segments for her CNN film show The Screening Room, the mum-of-one hopped a flight for LA. From there she'll head for Costa Rica to front America's latest version of I'm A Celebrity…

The 31-year-old 10 Years Younger host, who came second in the British version of the reality show in 2006, is reportedly being paid £100,000 to present the three-week prime-time show, which is due to air on June 1.

And as Myleene tackles America, it's been reported she's also one of the favourites to land a top spot on one of the UK's favourite shows – This Morning.

Speaking about the possibility of replacing Fern Britton, the pretty brunette says: I've heard about my name being in the frame and I'm a fan of Phillip Schofield, which is a bonus."

"I do the early mornings anyway, so it would fit in perfectly with the diary"
