Lady Gaga sings a special tribute to bullied fan

Monday September 26, 2011

At the Las Vegas I Heart Radio Fest this weekend, Lady Gaga dedicated a song to young fan Jamey Rodemeyer who recently committed suicide after being bullied.

The superstar honoured her young fan with a video montage and dedicated her song Hair to him.

"I lost a little monster this week and I'd like to dedicate this song to him," Gaga told the crowd.

"Tonight, Jamey I know you're up there and looking at us and you're not a victim".

She took to Twitter earlier in the week after hearing the news and insisted that she will be meeting with the president to tackle bullying.

"Bullying must become be illegal. It is a hate crime." she stated.

"I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it. Trend it #MakeALawForJamey."
