Lily Allen has something new to Smile about. The British singer has returned to her trademark black hair colour to compliment a blunt bob and fringe.
"Back to black," the 28-year-old wrote on Twitter next to a picture of herself having her highlighted locks brushed with dye.
She then shared a picture of the end result, writing "#Hairdid" next to the snap.
Mum-of-two Lily was seen attending Millie Mackintosh’s wedding to Professor Green on 10 September with her bobbed hair highlighted with blonde streaks.
But now the star – who rose to fame with her jet black locks – has gone back to her roots.
With her second daughter, Marnie Rose, now eight-months-old, Lily is preparing for her comeback to the music scene.
Next year she will release her highly-anticipated new album after taking a four-year break to focus on her family – she is also a mum to 22-month-old Ethel.
But she has insisted motherhood will not change her music.
"It's not an earnest 'I'm a mum' kind of record," she told HELLO! "It's empowering.
"There's some feminist vibes going on. It's the same old me with a bit of swearing going on."
