Tamara Ecclestone says she agreed to star in her own reality show to prove she wasn't an airhead.
But the 27-year-old billionaire heiress admitted she almost had an argument with stockbroker boyfriend Omar Khyami cut from the first episode of Tamara Ecclestone: Billion Dollar Girl.
"Yes, at first I wanted the row with my boyfriend removed, but then I thought 'Why? This is real'," she confessed.
"Everyone argues with their boyfriend and has psychotic, insecure moments. I sure as hell do and I want people to see I'm a real person.
"I cry, I get upset, I overreact and I thought, 'If I came across as too perfect, then that's not who I am'."
In the show, the socialite is seen in her lavish home which has a packed designer wardrobe she has flown out by private jet when she goes on holiday.
She shares her house with Omar and her pet dogs, including Chihuahua Duke who enjoys facials at Harrods' pet parlour.
Tamara hopes to win over viewers by showing who she really is.
"I just hope people get to know the real me and put some misconceptions to bed. I think a lot of people think I'm stupid. Maybe a vacuous airhead.
"I didn't want to do a scripted show. I'm glad it shows all aspects of my personality and not just the good stuff.
"I hope people will see that regardless of where you come from in life, all girls go through the same drama and insecurities. I'm hoping people will warm to me."
Tamara Ecclestone: Billion Dollar Girl begins on Channel 5 on Friday, November 4.
