Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton will say 'I do' this weekend to long-time love Marc Mezvinsky in a star-studded country ceremony outside New York.
And as the special day nears, many are keen to find out more about the 32-year-old financier who will become her husband and join America's political royalty.
Like 30-year-old Chelsea, Marc grew up in a political family with his parents, Edward and Marjorie, both serving in the US Congress.
His mother worked during Bill Clinton's first term as president, which led to a chance meeting with Chelsea on a weekend political retreat in 1993.
A few years later, Marc went on to study finance at Stanford University, which is also Chelsea's alma mater.
After graduating he moved to New York to work on Wall Street as an investment banker, and is currently employed by prestigious firm G3 Capital.
Like his bride-to-be, Marc's family has been involved in controversy. His father served five years in prison after pleading guilty to fraud involving $10 million.
Chelsea's dad, Bill revealed he was "very excited" after the couple announced their engagement in December 2009.
"I like and admire my future son-in-law, so I couldn't be happier about it," he has said about Marc, who often joins his fiancée and her dad on dinners when mum Hillary is travelling.
The pair will walk down the aisle this weekend in front of 400 guests, including Oprah Winfrey, Barbra Streisand, Steven Spielberg and Tony Blair.
