After the exciting news broke that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wed in an intimate ceremony in France on Saturday, details surrounding their much-anticipated nuptials has been flooding in.
Among all of their glamorous wedding gifts, US animal rights organization PETA has named a loving pair of rescued chinchillas Brad and Angie after the couple.
Brad and Angie are now up for adoption at PETA US’ Virginia headquarters following the closure of one of the largest chinchilla ranches in California.
"Among Brad and Angelina's kind acts are their animal rescues – as well as making their wardrobes fur-free – so naming two of PETA US' rescued chinchillas in their honour seems an apt wedding present", explained PETA UK spokesperson Yvonne Taylor.
In a congratulatory letter to the Hollywood heartthrobs, the organisation added: "We hope it pleases you to know that many of our staff members consider Brad and Angie to be almost as impossibly goodlooking as their namesakes – almost."
