While many rising stars might aim for a fortune to enable them to buy a luxury pad and a yacht or two, it seems Amanda Holden's ambitions are slightly less extravagant.
The Britain's Got Talent judge has revealed she works in showbusiness to support her collection of shoes.
And Amanda, who tied the knot with music executive Chris Hughes last year, says her husband struggles to understand her footwear fettish.
"He'll look at my bank statement and go, 'This is ridiculous - stop buying shoes, you need to retire!'" she tells a UK magazine.
"But I'm not planning on retiring; I'm always working because I can't stop buying shoes!"
"He doesn't understand how they can cost so much. He's like, 'I read that Denise Van Outen gets given her shoes,' and I say, 'That's rubbish! That'll be what she's saying so Lee Mead doesn't tell her off!'"
