A wax figure of the late Whitney Houston has arrived in London's Madame Tussauds this week. To pay tribute to the music icon the wax creation will stay in the capital for eight weeks from 17 October.
Whitney's wax look has been based on the singer's 2009 I Look to You comeback album. She is wearing a floor length sequin gold gown with sleek shoulder length hair and bearing a broad smile.
"This is a very special figure as it was created after her very sad and untimely death with the close co-operation of her family who were delighted by the results. She will be joining fellow female icons, Adele, Rihanna and Madonna and we are sure guests will love the opportunity to step on stage with one of the world’s most celebrated musical talents," commented PR Manager, Nicole Fenner.
Four other Whitney figures are on display in Madame Tussauds attractions around the US including New York, Las Vegas, Washington DC and Hollywood but this is the first time one of the figures has left America.
