She survived 17 days in the jungle and endured eight Bushtucker trials at the behest of the public.
But Gillian McKeith's days on I'm A Celebrity… have come to an end.
The TV nutritionist has become the latest contestant to be voted off the show, and has hit back at claims her dramatic fainting episodes were 'fake'.
"I'm so happy, I'm so happy I cannot tell you," she told hosts Ant and Dec upon her exit. "I'm the happiest person alive."
"I have a history of fainting, it's not something that I would ever want to do – it feels horrible."
The controversial star - who collapsed three times - also admitted she didn’t know why she went into the jungle when she suffered with so many phobias.
"I must have lost my marbles," she said. "I don’t know what I was thinking. I didn’t think I would be picked for all these trials, I thought I would be cooking all the time."
"The first day I though that would be it and then each day it would start again and the anxiety levels grew into panic attack mode," she added.
"I felt like I was on high alert all the time."
