A new memoir about the late John F Kennedy Jr reveals fascinating details of the late magazine publisher's dealings with some of Hollywood's top names.
In the book, Fairy Tale Interrupted, his former personal assistant Rosemarie Terenzio shares anecdotes from his time at the helm of lifestyle magazine George.
The ex-employee reveals that her boss provocatively asked rumoured ex-girlfriend Madonna to pose on the publication's cover dressed as his mother, Jackie Onassis.
The singer declined the offer in a faxed note that read: "Dear Johnny Boy, thanks for asking me to be your mother but I could never do her justice. My eyebrows aren't thick enough, for one".
"When you want me to portray Eva Braun or Pamela Harriman, I might say yes!"
Marlon Brando was also another celebrity that John had his sights on for the magazine.
But his appearance also failed to materialise after a bizarre conversation in which The Godfather icon criticised Hollywood for being "a toilet bowl".
