Ed Miliband, leader of the Labour party, is finally marrying his partner of six years.
The politician popped the question to Justine Thornton, mother of his two children, Daniel, 21-months, and Samuel, four months, during a stroll on Primrose Hill this month.
"It's going to be a wedding for family and very close and old family friends, so it's going to be a small wedding. We will do it in our own way," said Ed.
The couple will marry at a picturesque boutique country house 20 minutes from Justine's childhood home in Nottingham.
Ed said the first person he told about the wedding was his brother David, whom he beat to take Labour leadership last year.
"He's delighted for me and will obviously be there," said the 41-year-old.
David won't be his best man, however, as Ed has dispensed with the tradition to keep his wedding low key.
