The former boyfriend of EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy has admitted attacking her at their home in Hertfordshire.
Adam Cottrell pleaded guilty to two counts of beating and two counts of criminal damage.
Magistrate Jackie Mountford told the 31-year-old that a community setence may be appropriate, but she added: "We are not at all ruling out custody at this stage".
He was released on bail and is due to be sentenced on 21 June.
Natalie - who has a daughter with the defendant - recently called off their wedding, which had been planned for later this year.
