Prime Minister David Cameron has shown his faith in London's transport system by taking the underground to the Olympic Park in Stratford on Monday.
Instead of using the special "Zil lanes", designated for VIPs travelling to the sports spectacular, Mr Cameron took the Jubilee Line .
Downing Street tweeted a photo of him heading to the Aquatics Centre to watch Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield compete in the Olympics synchronised diving final.
Having boarded the train at Westminster station, the Prime Minister sat amidst tourists and chatted to fellow Games-goers.
Passengers speaking to BBC London 94.9 described Mr Cameron as "friendly", adding that he was happy to answer questions and have his photo taken.
