Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas has been pictured for the first time since revealing he has a throat tumour.
The 65-year-old star cut a slender figure as he left the New York apartment he shares with his supportive wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and their two children.
It has been reported that he has begun intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatment in a bid to battle the disease.
Following the doctors' diagnosis, Michael has said he is "optimistic" and hopes to make a full recovery.
In keeping with that courageous attitude, the dad-of-three has decided not to delay a court case against his ex-wife who is suing him for half his earnings for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.
Diandra Douglas, who had offered to postpone the legal battle, is claiming she is entitled to 50 per cent of Michael's wages for the upcoming movie.
Under the terms of their split, she is entitled to half of the proceeds from the film, theatre and stage work Michael did during their marriage, which, she argues, should include the sequel.
The couple divorced in 2000 after 23 years together and the actor reportedly gave her £30 million in settlement.
