Avril Lavigne named Canada's Most Beautiful 2013

She's about to get married, has just recorded a new album and with a potential world tour in the offing, nothing can stop the vibrant Avril Lavigne - who has also just been named the cover star of Hello!'s coveted Most Beautiful Issue. It was while working on her fifth studio album that the petite blond beauty fell in love with Nickelback frontman and fellow Canadian Chad Kroeger, “I’m really happy to be with a good Canadian guy" she says. “I feel most beautiful when, well, I’m around Chad,” she confesses. “He makes me feel so beautiful and I’m not one who really dresses up that much. I’m usually in the studio in regular, comfy clothes. I wear some pretty out-there designs. He likes my style – he thinks I’m cute.”

With Avril Lavigne heading up the list of Canada's Most Beautiful, second place goes to CBC talk show host George Stroumboulopoulos who puts it so succintly when he says - “Canadians are beautiful because most of us are originally from other places, but we come here and for the most part, get along, while maintaining our family history and identity.” Third-place goes to Burnaby-born Michael Bublé who is getting ready to welcome his first child with his gorgeous wife Luisana Lopilato. In fourth place eTalk co-anchor Tanya Kim who says she "feel[s] most beautiful when I’m surrounded by my loved ones and my bull mastiff, Miss Louise”

Mad Men actress and Montreal native Jessica Paré comes in at number five and declares  “I definitely feel like I’m becoming more confident. I feel great about where I am. And I like who I am.” Emily Vancamp, Milos Raonic and David Sutcliffe also all feature in the top ten along with former figure skater and now Hollywood star Rachel McAdams and top model Jessica Stam - who feels most beautiful "when I'm swimming in the ocean."

The remainder of the top 50 is composed of perennial favourites such as Ryans Gosling and Reynolds plus Jason Priestley along with new-comers such as hockey star Sidney Crosby and Baby Daddy star Jean-Luc Bilodeau
