Katie Price is back from a recent stint in America determined to take her equestrian career to the next level. Launching her new range of children's riding clothes in London this week, the former glamour model revealed she's purchased a new steed to take part in a series of events this year, including a celebrity polo match.

The mum-of-three, who last year revealed her goal of competing in dressage at the Olympics, says she's still adjusting to her new mount Jordan's Player. "I bought him recently in Holland. I took him out with me to LA and I'm having a great time getting to know him."

Katie's new horse joins her other mount Jordan's Glamour Girl in her Sussex stables. The first big event scheduled for team Price this year is a celebrity polo match at the British Open Show Jumping Competition in Birmingham next month, where the 31-year-old is to captain a team.

While she's determined to be taken seriously as a horsewoman Katie's not afraid to have fun with her KP Equestrian clothing line. Her favourite colour, fuchsia pink, features in the line along with lime green and bright blue "I thought 'Why not bring some colour into it?'," she says.

Apart from developments in her equestrian career, the other talking point at Katie's clothes launch was her new body art. Putting paid to reports her marriage is on shaky ground, she had husband Peter Andre's first name tattooed on her left wrist, along with the design of a crown with daughter Princess Tiaamii's name underneath. She had the design inked in Las Vegas as a surprise for her 36-year-old husband.
