Sharon sizzles in scarlet while Dita turns ice maiden at LA benefit

They were all there to support the same cause, but the VIP guests at a Beverly Hills benefit dinner were divided by their fashion choices. While Paris Hilton and Sharon Stone sizzled in scarlet gowns, burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese went for an ice maiden look in an embroidered, glacier blue prom style dress with 'Hermes'-winged shoes.

Sharon, who defied her 51 years in a figure-hugging Herve Leger bandage dress - a favourite with stars including Kate Winslet and Cheryl Cole - caught up with mother-daughter team Sharon and Kelly Osbourne at the bash, which raised cash for the women-specific services of the LA Gay and Lesbian Centre.

The former X Factor judge and her 24-year-old daughter stuck to rock chick black – Sharon in a biker jacket and velvet skirt combo and Kelly in a spotted minidress.

Christina Aguilera provided the musical entertainment at the bash – where celeb guests got the chance to bid on items donated by musicians Bette Midler, Pink, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys.

And spinning tunes at the after-party was Lindsay Lohan's former companion, DJ Samantha Ronson.
