Sophisticated Penny is glam support for husband Rod Stewart
15 MAY 2009
Statuesque Penny Lancaster normally keeps her hemlines short and sweet when she steps out for a big night, because of husband Rod Stewart's appreciation of her killer pins.
On this occasion it's doubtful the rocker minded his wife taking a more covered-up approach.
Her figure was shown off to best advantage as she graced a charity ball in a fabulous champagne-coloured affair featuring a daring, plunging neckline. Diamond jewels and a megawatt smile finished off the sultry look.
The photographer and mum of one was in the audience cheering on her husband as he took to the stage for an electrifying performance before celebrity guests including Elizabeth Hurley, Eamonn Holmes and his fiancée Ruth Langsford.
Her usual sophisticated self in a full-length, pale rose gown, model-turned-businesswoman Elizabeth was certainly an effective advert for her recent claim that country living "is sexier".
The 43-year-old, who lives on a farm in Gloucestershire, hit the headlines by waxing lyrical about bucolic menfolk including Prince Charles.
