While they are currently dealing with the demise of their own marriage, Ronnie Wood and his estranged wife Jo had reason to celebrate this week after their daughter Leah gave birth to the couple's sixth grandchild.
Model Leah and her TV producer husband Jack MacDonald, who married at Southwark Cathedral in June of last year, have welcomed their first baby, a little girl named Maggie.
Weighing in at just seven lbs, Maggie arrived prematurely, making her entrance two week ahead of schedule. "Mother and baby are doing really well and the family are thrilled," a source told the Mail.
The new addition to the Wood clan comes amid a tricky time for the family. Two weeks ago Ronnie, who walked his daughter down the aisle at her nuptials, and Jo began divorce proceedings after the Rolling Stones guitarist, 61, left his wife of 23 years last summer and began a relationship with his young Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.
Since the breakdown of the marriage, Ronnie has had a strained relationship with his children who are reportedly refusing to meet his 20-year-old love, who friends have said he is planning to wed.
