A massive cheer went up as the pop pin-up stepped out on stage at the sexy dance show Here Come The Boys! at London's O2 arena. Though he kept his clothes on – unlike the toned, beefy stars of the extravaganza, described as a 'musical with muscle' - that didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd.
"I'm very happy to be here," he told the exciting audience. "In fact when they asked me to be here, I was quite honoured."
"You've got great-looking guys out the back and you've got great-looking girls in the front," the 36-year-old performer told the largely female audience.
As Peter returned to the public eye with his first official engagement, it was being reported he's found a dream home for him and his and Katie's children, Junior, who's nearly four, Princess Tiiamii, 23 months, and Harvey, Katie's seven-year-old son from a former relationship.
According to the Daily Mirror the £1.8 million house in Hove, West Sussex, is 41 miles from the couple's former marital base in Woldingham Surrey.
His idea is to rent the seven-bed property initially, with an option to buy in six months. Pete apparently plans to spend thousands to make the mansion child-friendly, in particular adding gates around the pool and ensuring wheelchair access for his disabled stepson Harvey.
According to reports he's rushing the deal through so the house will be ready for Junior's birthday on June 13. He wants to hold a special celebration after being disappointed by the fact that he wan't able to see Harvey when he turned seven on Wednesay. His estranged wife whisked the children off to a theme park for the day instead.
