"Everything is simply perfect – I'm getting married today." That was the last Twitter message Ivanka Trump posted as a single woman.
Hours later on Sunday she tied the knot with Jared Kushner, publisher of the New York Observer, at the Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey.
Twenty-seven-year-old Ivanka, wore a delicate Vera Wang gown inspired by Grace Kelly.
Among the 500 guests at the ceremony included Ivanka's billionaire father Donald Trump, and US TV veteran Regis Philbin - who was invited to sing and entertain at the reception.
In the run up to her special day, Ivanka had used her micro-blogging site to say she was "looking forward to dancing like a maniac with all of my friends."
The night before the wedding, the glam businesswoman spent the evening "at a very casual 'rehearsal' dinner with friends" she added: "Just five of my lady friends and me having a casual dinner and getting excited. Perfect!"
Ivanka dated 28-year-old Jared on and off for two years before he popped the question in July.
