All eyes were on Kristen Stewart at the premiere of The Runaways this week as she confidently debuted a brand new red carpet look.
Marking a departure from the rock chick image she favours when promoting the Twilight films – the Eclipse trailer was unveiled on the same day – the actress, 19, rang the changes in a hot pink mini dress complete with daring sheer panelling.
Perhaps her bold sartorial selection was inspired by her latest role, starring as iconic Seventies rock star Joan Jett.
Coincidentally she appears alongside another Twilight leading lady, 16-year-old Dakota Fanning, who takes on the role of band mate Cherie Currie.
The talented actresses happily cosied up and posed together at the screening, where they were also joined by their real life counterparts.
And there was even more support for the duo from Twilight's Taylor Lautner, who also turned out.
The only star missing from the 'reunion' was Kristen's off-screen boyfriend Robert Pattinson, currently lensing his new film, Bel Ami, in London alongside Philip Glenister and Uma Thurman.
The Runaways is a musical biopic based on the all-girl group of the same name, following two friends, co-producer Joan and Cherie, as they rise from being rebellious street kids to rock stars.
Both Kristen and Dakota threw themselves into the roles; from singing in the movie to ensuring they wrote with their left-hands to better imitate the musicians.
Their hard work certainly seems to have paid off. In January, the drama received rave reviews after its first premiere at the Sundance Festival, with particular credit given to the two young stars.
