Days before she is about to embark on treatment in her bid to beat breast cancer, the 49-year-old singer treated her daughter Erin to a mother-daughter night at a Michael Buble concert.
Holding the 11-year-old tight, Bernie – who recently revealed she had been diagnosed with the disease – had a big smile on her face as she arrived for the gig alongside a number of British stars.
Among those famous faces were two of her siblings, Maureen and Linda.
The latter is no doubt a big source of inspiration to Bernie – incredibly Linda and fellow sister Anne have both been diagnosed with, and successfully beaten, breast cancer.
Bernie's positive approach to overcoming the disease was evident when she appeared on GMTV recently for an interview with Lorraine Kelly.
Speaking about the support and love she has received from friends and family, the Bill actress said she was determined to "kick this thing's butt!"
Bernie, who will shortly undergo a mastectomy and chemotherapy, revealed that her instructions to the surgeon were to "just get this thing out of me. I've got to get on with my life."
Meanwhile, other celebs braving the windy conditions in London to attend the recording of the Michael Buble concert, which will be screened on TV, included bubbly presenter Fern Britton, Gavin and Stacey's Joanna Page, Holly Willoughby and Rachel Stevens.
After her appearance at the musical evening, Bernie is preparing to make an appearance at the British Soap Awards later this month, where she will present a trophy alongside her sister, Loose Women's Coleen.
"I'd better do it now before I lose all my hair," she recently said. "It might be my last chance to look really glamorous."
