Arnold Schwarzenegger objects to paying Maria spousal support

by hellomagazine.com Arnold Schwarzenegger has indicated in court documents that he doesn't want to give Maria Shriver spousal support or pay her lawyer's fees in their divorce case.

The couple announced they had split in May after 25 years of marriage.

Soon afterwards the actor and former California governor disclosed he'd fathered a child with their housekeeper.

In her divorce petition, his estranged wife had asked for spousal support and for him to pay her legal fees.

Lawyers said that this may be an indication of the size of the settlement to which Maria is eventually entitled

"His position is probably that she's going to have enough money that she won't need the support," said Santa Monica divorce specialist Lynn Soodik.

"Either that, or he's being really aggressive."
