It seems that the love of a good woman and his fondness for dressing up as superheroes have pulled Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon through his recent health scare.
The US star has now been released from LA hospital where he was admitted after suffering from 'mild kidney failure', and a spokesperson for the star confirmed that Nick was "resting and recovering at home".
The fun-loving couple – who recently got kitted-out as superhero family, The Incredibles- have faced the setback with their usual strong dose of humour.
And throughout the ordeal Mariah has been glued to her man’s side whilst keeping a Twitter vigil to update fans and share pictures of his progress.
"Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged within two days. As always he's laughing and in good spirits". she wrote just before he was discharged.
Radio host Nick is due to return to work on his live morning show 'Rollin' with Nick Cannon on January 17.
