Michelle Obama and her daughters sat in the front row as Beyonce set the stage alight for the first time since giving birth to her daughter, Blue Ivy .
"Y'all don't know how hard I had to work" she told the crowd who witnessed her blistering comeback in Atlantic City.
"I had to lose 60 pounds. They had me on the treadmill, eating lettuce."

Her regime certainly paid off – Beyonce looked incredible as she stormed the stage in a series of daring outfits.
Michelle and her girls were there to support the Halo singer, with whom she shares a long history of mutual respect and admiration.
The First Lady recently told People she would like to be Beyonce if she weren't otherwise engaged on the world stage.
Her comment came after the songstress wrote an open letter of admiration for Barack Obama's wife on her website.
In the touching tribute, she hailed her as "the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman."
"Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us - I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to." she concluded.
After warming up by thrilling the first family, Beyonce will perform two more concerts to sell out crowds at Atlantic City's Revel Resorts.
