Elizabeth Hurley's son Damian has followed his mother on to the small screen.
The 10-year-old, whose father is film producer and businessman Steve Bing, has filmed scenes as an extra in Australian soap-opera Neighbours.
The 47-year-old mother-of-one used her Twitter page to announce that her son was visiting the show's set on Thursday, writing: "My son totally overexcited as he's visiting the Neighbours set today."
Two hours later the Gossip Girl actress added: "My son in heaven - he got to be an extra in Neighbours today."
Elizabeth and Damian have been staying in Melbourne, where the soap is filmed, with Elizabeth’s fiancé cricketer Shane Warne.
Damian's new acting role in the show, which launched Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan to fame, means he's making his first small steps into showbiz.
His model and and actress mum has had a fruitful screen career, making appearances in the hit TV series Sharpe and Wesley Snipes film Passenger 57.
She went on to appear in Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery and Bedazzled.
In recent years Elizabeth has also thrown herself into other projects including organic foods, film production and her designer swimwear range.
