Spice Girls' fans will be excited to hear that the stars of the West End extravaganza Viva Forever! have met up ahead of rehersals for the musical inspired by the chart-topping girl band.
The cast, who begin working on the eagerly awaited production next week, visited Piccadilly Theatre in London, where the show will play later this year.
Begining with a preview on November 27, Viva Forever!'s official opening will take place on December 11.
Anticipation began to build in June, when the five members of the girl-power-group, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm, reuinted in London to launch the project.
The actresses who star in the show, written by Jennifer Saunders, include newcomer Hannah John-Kamen and experienced West End performer Sally Ann Triplett.
Hannah and former Eurovision entrant Sally are joined by comedy actress Lucy Mongomery, who graced British TV screens in The Mighty Boosh as well as Coronation Street actor Bill Ward.
Judy Craymer, the show's producer, said: "We're very excited to be working with such a fabulous group of actors - not only does the cast include some of the most accomplished performers in British musical theatre, but we've discovered some wonderful newcomers as well."
In Viva Forever!, Hannah takes the role of Viva a young girl who, along with her three best friends, features in a TV talent show that turns her life upside down.
