Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have appeared on TV together after rekindling their romance. The Twilight actors looked happy and relaxed as they got together publicly for the first time since their relationship was rocked by Kristen's "momentary indiscretion".
On Thursday, the smiling pair sat down with co-star Taylor Lautner for an MTV interview to promote the latest instalment of their film, Breaking Dawn: Part II.
The 22-year-old actress, who sat in the middle of her two handsome co-stars, was dressed down in a casual jersey top and black jeans. She and Robert had not been seen at a public event together since July, when their relationship was rocked amidst claims Kristen had been unfaithful with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Saunders. The film-maker is married to British model Liberty Ross, with whom he has two children - Skyla, seven, and Tennyson, five.
Compromising pictures of Kristen and Rupert surfaced and the actress issued a public apology to her boyfriend Robert. She said: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
During the interview, the real-life couple, who play Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in the Twilight series, laughed and joked with each other and even talked about the halloween costumes they chose to attend a party together on Wednesday night.
Kristen's choice was inspired by one of her favourite movies Closer, where Natalie Portman wears a pink wig in a several scenes.
"Oh yes, it looks awesome," she said eyeing the photograph of herself in a pink bobbed wig and sunglasses. "That's not fair. That's actually a really weird photo. If you've seen that, that's one aspect of Natalie's character. She changes a lot in that movie, but that's one part, yeah."
Robert, on the other hand, seemed reluctant to admit he was the man behind the clear mask with eyebrows painted on. "That's not me," he exclaimed, laughing, admitting: "I chose someone who is just genuinely terrifying. It was a $3 mask from a 7-Eleven."
The trio were also asked about their memories from the franchise, with Robert remembering that fans of the Stephenie Meyer trilogy were not exactly thrilled about his casting at first. "Unanimous unhappiness," he remembered. "I think it's come full circle and they hate me again."
