Famous trio Kim, Khloe and Kourtney are seen posing along with their matriarch Kris Jenner and the wider family, including Kourtney's cute children, Mason, three, and his baby sister Penelope Scotland, who is celebrating her first Christmas.
Every year the family get together and release a card. Past dress codes, like 2011 below, have all seen smart, sultry and stylish feature as the sartorial theme, but in 2012 the clan embrace their angelic side with all-white outfits. In a poignant twist, Kim's snowy kitten Mercy was also included when the photo was taken, but has since passed away due to illness.
Reality TV's first family were clearly happy with their festive offering and head girl Kim shared the card online, telling fans: "Here it is!! Our 2012 family Christmas card shot by the amazing Nick Saglimbeni! We had such a fun time shooting this!".
What neither Kim nor the card gave away, however, was the fact that not all members of the family were actually present for the photo-shoot, and that absentees had to be digitally added to the picture. That was left for sister Khloe to share during a chat with Ellen DeGeneres.
"We pretend that we're always together," she said during the interview, before hailing "the powers of cameras and Photoshop." Khloe's own husband Lamar Odom, younger sister Kendall Jenner and brother-in-law Scott Disick were only digitally present in 2012's pristine offering.
Another face who was notably missing was Kim's rapper boyfriend Kanye West. Although the pair have been inseparable since they started dating in spring, the Gold Digger singer can't claim to be a Kardashian just quite yet. However, if their relationship continues to go from strength to strength, he could be a new addition for next year's gathering.
