Drew Barrymore has gushed about motherhood and her daughter Olive in an intimate interview with chat show Queen Oprah Winfrey.
The 37-year-old actress, who welcomed her first daughter in September, admitted that motherhood is like "having the worst crush of your life".
"Everyone says what is parenthood like and they only word that came across my world was indescribable. It's like having the worst crush of your life. I drive home with heart palpitations, I just can't wait to get to her," she confessed.

The mother-of-one also revealed there is one special picture and video of Olive dressed up as a lobster that she looks at every day.
"It's the best picture ever!" the Charlie's Angels star gushed to Oprah, holding up her iPhone during the interview.
"I had her in the lobster costume for a long time and for Halloween she was lobster in a pot. It took me 25 times to try and get it, finally she was perfect and I got it and it's the best pictures ever!"
Speaking about how she copes with waking up early, she said: "I wake up every morning and it's a newfound joy that I have in the morning hours. I get to wake her up, and she's so fun and always smiling and doesn't have this history of all these thoughts you wake up with as an adult. It's just joy!"
The interview took place in the house that Drew shares with husband Will Kopelman in Santa Barbara, California, which is just next to Oprah's.
"So happy to know Drew Barrymore is my neighbour I now have someone to share my garden veggies," the chat show Queen tweeted after the tapping.
The 50 First Dates star opened up about how she plans to shape her new career as a mother as well as troubles with her own, whom she didn't invite to her wedding last year.
"She was not there, which was very hard," said Drew, who was legally emancipated from her mother as a teenager.
"We both discussed it and thought it would be best. We really spoke about it, that's where I feel like a grown-up, with my mom."
This week, Drew Barrymore was spotted on her first mother-daughter outing in New York.
The actress joined her husband Will during a daytime stroll in the city with their daughter Olive. Drew and her husband kept a close eye on their tot as they navigated the city in matching wayfarer sunglasses.
The star began dating art consultant Will, son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman in January 2011. Two of the actresses' most joyful moments came a year later when she announced that she would be expecting her first child, and tying the knot in a summer wedding at her California mansion.
Sharing her big day with HELLO!, the actress opted for a Chanel gown in homage to her father-in-law. The pair's happiness was sealed when they welcomed "happy and healthy" Olive Barrymore Kopelman into the world in September 2012.
It's a little princess!
