His hit show 30 Rock might have come to an end, but Alec Baldwin already has a new role lined up.
The 54-year-old actor and his wife Hilaria Thomas have confirmed they are expecting their first child together – and Hilaria gave HELLO! Online a personal thanks after we tweeted our congratulations.
Yoga instructor Hilaria, 28, first announced the news on Extra, for which she works as a special correspondent, saying, "We're having a baby! It was a surprise, a wonderful surprise."

Alec, who is already a father to daughter Ireland, 17, from his marriage to Kim Basinger, and Hilaria got married in June after a three-month engagement.
The star has said he was unaware that his wife was even taking a pregnancy test, and was only alerted to the news when he heard her cry out from the bathroom.
"There's a scream I heard, which is a scream usually reserved if there's a spider in the house!" he said.
"We can joke about it all, but it's honestly the most amazing moment. We are really sharing something special."
Hilaria has said she has already noticed her body changing and that the couple can't wait to start preparing their home for the new arrival.
"I'm showing," the Mallorca-born brunette revealed. "This is actually gonna happen! Now we can start the nursery, the everything, the dreaming!"
Emmy award-winner Alec has been dropping big hints about his desire to be a stay-at home dad - 30 Rock aired its final episode last month.
Speaking to Wonderwall in June ahead of his star-studded nuptials, the actor said, "I keep telling my future wife that I want her to get rich because I want to retire.
"She teaches yoga. I want her to become the world's first billionaire yoga teacher. I know it's a long shot, but that's the plan I'm sticking with right now.
"I want to have a baby and stay at home and make the pancakes before I send my wife out to work every day to pay the bills!"
