Kim Kardashian has returned to Twitter for the first time following the birth of her daughter. Since giving birth to North West on 15 June prolific tweeter Kim has been silent on the social media site, but the new mum broke her silence on Thursday to wish her sister Khloé Kardashian a happy birthday.
To mark her younger sister's 29th birthday, reality star Kim posted a series of photographs of the famous family through the ages.
"Then- @KhloeKardashian The birthday girl! I love you so much!!!!" said Kim along with a montage of photographs of the girls when they were younger.
In the images Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian pose with their mother Kris Jenner and father Robert Kardashian. The youngsters appear dressed up for official family portraits and also wearing cute swimming costumes on a family holiday.

A more recent images shows Kim, Khloe and Kourtney and brother Rob Kardashian with their young step sisters, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
"Now- @khloekardashian The most loyal & supportive person on the planet!" Kim then tweeted with another collage of photographs, adding "Life wouldn't be the same without you Kokes!" in reference to her sister's nickname.
Kim's silence on Twitter has been no surprise as the reality star adapts to life with the newest addition to the Kardashian family.
Kim realised her dream of becoming a mum in the early hours of the morning on 15 July, weeks earlier than her July due date.
The 32-year-old gave birth in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA with boyfriend Kanye West and her mother, Kris Jenner, by her side, before her whole family rallied round in support.
"HAPPY FATHERS DAY @kanyewest!!!!!," tweeted Kris to new dad Kanye, before Khloe tweeted describing her excitement about baby North's arrival.
"I cannot even begin 2 describe the miracle that is now part of our family," she said. "Mommy/baby are healthy & resting. We appreciate all of the love."
Five days after the birth, Kim's fans finally found out what she had named her daughter when the baby's name was leaked. Numerous sources, including TMZ reported that North West was the name listed on the birth certificate from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
