And the singer, 45, who was left "devastated" and "heartbroken" by the split, put on a brave face, smiling for the cameras at the APREC cancer research association benefit auction dinner, and laughing and chatting animatedly with fellow attendees.
Despite the difficult time, the pint-sized pop star looked as chic as ever in a long-sleeved pink and black knitted dress, pointed patent black heels and a matching black handbag.
Her brown locks were tied back into a low bun and she kept her make-up to a minimum.
Kylie split days ago from her Spanish model boyfriend following months of speculation that their relationship was on the rocks.
Friends of Kylie say that her busy work schedule led to their split. While the Australian star has just started her role as a judge on The Voice UK, Andrés has been busy pursuing his dream of becoming an actor.
"When Kylie signed up for The Voice, they knew they couldn't cope with the long-distance pressures the job would put on them," an insider told The Sun.
The Spinning Around star has also spent the past year working incredibly hard on her twelfth studio album stateside, while also preparing for her ambitious world tour planned for next year.
"Kylie and Andrés haven't spent much time together because she's been holed up in a studio in Los Angeles working on her new album," said the source.
"He's also been trying to carve out an acting career for himself."
