Angelina Jolie and kids have a roaring good time at Lion King musical

Angelina Jolie mastered the art of combining work and motherhood once again when she took her six children to see The Lion King in Sydney, while she is there directing her latest film, Unbroken.

The Hollywood star took Maddox, 12, Pax, nine, Shiloh, seven, Zahara, eight, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne to the matinee performance of the famous Disney musical on Sunday, while hubby Brad Pitt works hard on the other side of the globe, filming The Fury in the UK.The Jolie-Pitt brood were in for even more of a treat, heading backstage after the performance to meet the cast and crew.

The 38-year-old mum and her children posed for colourful photographs with the entire cast, who were all dressed head to toe in their spectacular costumes.

In the photos, which were later shared on Facebook, Oscar-winning actress Angelina can be seen standing in the middle of the fantastical setting, casually dressed for her family day out in black leggings, a dark blouse featuring sheer lacy sleeves and black ballet flats.

Sitting at the forefront of the Lion King crowd sits little Knox, who is clearly having a great time and beaming from ear to ear, next to his twin sister Vivienne.

Angelina left her mark at Sydney’s Capitol Theater, being the first celebrity to sign the autograph wall located backstage. "Amazing show! Much love, Angelina Jolie," the actress wrote on the blackboard.It was back to work for Angelina on Monday, who returned to the Unbroken set where she is currently directing.

She and Brad have been on opposite sides of the globe recently, sharing their children so they get to spend time with both of them, but they will be together for a family Christmas.Brad will fly Down Under just after his 50th birthday on 18 December to reunite with the entire family, Us Weekly has reported.
