Football star denies dating Kym Marsh after she joins his 30th birthday celebrations

A football player who enjoyed a night out with Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has shot down suggestions that they might be romantically involved.
Blackpool striker Michael Chopra tweeted: "Why do people make things bigger than they actually are. Met @msm4rsh once with @antonycotton and people try to make it out we are dating."

His remarks were retweeted by the 37year-old actress who has filed for divorce from husband Jamie Lomas.
Just before Christmas Kym was joined by a group of friends including the sports ace at the Blackpool Rocks event.
After a high spirited evening out, the pair exchanged Twitter messages.
Michael asked Kym if she'd had fun, to which the actress replied: "Yep but sore head no thanks to you."

The player, who is a recovering gambling addict, was celebrating his 30th birthday that day. Speaking about the outing, a source told the Mirror: "They met on a group night out, and had a drink and a laugh, but that is as far as it goes."
Michael is said to be trying to mend his relationship with ex-wife Heather Swan - their marriage ended in 2008.
Meanwhile, Kym has been trying to move on from her marriage to Jamie. The couple got together in 2008 and went on to suffer heartbreak when they had a stillborn son Archie the folllowing year.
They married in September 2012 but anounced their separation last year.
Before Christmas Kym said she planned to spend the holidays with their toddler Polly, two, and Emily, her 16-year-old from a previously relationship. But her son David would be missing from the celebrations.

She said: "Christmas is always a family time so I will be spending it with (my children), but my son is in Cape Verde with his girlfriend and her family this year so we will be missing him like mad.
"He is 18 now and an amazing young man. A true gentleman.
"My daughter Emily is just 16 and a very talented singer and actress and a little diamond and Polly is so funny – a real little character and so, so cute.
"She never really knew what Christmas was in previous years as she was too young, but now she's getting excited."
