Kendall Jenner 'runs from' scary LA earthquake as Hollywood panics
17 MARCH 2014Kendall Jenner says her mother Kris Jenner tried to make her run out of their California home on Monday after a 4.7 in magnitude earthquake which was felt widely across the large Los Angeles County. The 18-year-old joked that her parent wasn’t the smartest in her panic as she ordered her family out of their mansion in an effort to reach safety.
The model shared a snap of her trainers as she prepared to make a dash from their property in case any falling fixtures inside put them at risk of being harmed.
“Earthquakes with Kris Jenner: she makes you run outside at 6am in your running shoes to wait for the after shock. I'm sorry but how do you run from an earthquake mom?” she wrote on Instagram.
Stars such as Paris Hilton, Ellen Page and Ryan Seacrest were also woken by a scary earthquake measuring around on Monday in California. They were alarmed when the tremor originating north east of the Westwood area as the City of Angels continues to experience hot temperatures for this time of year.
Kendall found her mother's coping methods funny
It’s expected to reach a high of 75 degree Fahrenheit today and those such as E! presenter and reality Giuliana Rancic felt it the hardest as she was in the epicentre. Meanwhile author Jackie Collins claims the trembles threw her out of her bed. Glee’s Dianna Agron may have been in LA for other earthquakes but she admits she hadn’t noticed the rest of the comparatively mild occasions.
She tweeted: “Can't say I've never felt an earthquake anymore...” after admitted she was frightened. Melissa Joan Hart agreed with the sentiments of fellow child star Tia Mowry who thought that some serious damage could have impacted on Hollywood.
“Same here! Ugh” she wrote in response to this message: “Former sister Still breathing hard and shaking... That seemed bigger than a 4.7...brought back memories of the big one...”
