He'd be beaming proudly at one of the designer's fashion shows, often snapping pictures to capture the moment. At parties the Rolling Stones frontman would be quick to point out the A-listers wearing L'Wren: Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey, Penelope Cruz, Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker were all clients.
"She has a fabulous eye for style. That’s how we first met," he would tell people. When she launched her collaboration with Banana Republic in 2013, Sir Mick was right there besides her in supportive partner mode rather sweetly talking up the clothes.

Inseparable since 2001 when they met on a photo shoot, for which she was the stylist they travelled the world together.
In the months leading up to her death the duo did their own high glam version of living out of a suitcase. In June and July she accompanied him to gigs at Glastonbury and Hyde Park. In October the lovers were in India, where L'Wren posted a series of pictures on Instagram.
In one picture they can be seen happily smiling on an evening out. In another the singer is seen walking in front of a palace at sunset. For others Mick was clearly behind the camera lovingly photographing his girlfriend.
The couple escaped the winter by heading to Los Angeles in November, followed by Christmas and New Year at his home in Mustique. Early this year they were at his house in Chelsea.
Much has been made of the fact beautiful women have always surrounded Mick. But the ones who stayed any length of time were also talented with huge personalities.
And the statuesque designer had a talent to match her endless legs. She was always busy with new projects: at their 16th-century chateau near the Loire in France, she cultivated roses that were the basis of her eponymous perfume.
Hardworking because of her middle American upbringing as the adoptive daughter of Mormons, L'Wren earned the admiration of a man who was despite his rock wildman persona himself hugely disciplined. Even to this day Mick follows a tough fitness regime, training up to six days a week in order to prepare for the 12 miles he is estimated to cover during a typical stage show.

Untrue say those close to the couple. Since 2007 she had worn an iceberg-sized vintage diamond on her ring finger that he picked out himself. After two high-profile unions and seven children, he may not have been the marrying kind, but this was his way of saying that she was "his lover and best friend".
Moreover, one of the first to offer her condolences was his ex-wife Bianca Jagger. Pictures of her with any of his children, show her as very much part of the fold.
In the end the last word must go to the man who loved her for 13 years. "We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life together," said Mick. "I will never forget her."
