The 31-year-old paid tribute to her 25-year-old sibling – who passed away on Monday - writing about how she was a striking person and won’t be erased from the memory of her loved ones.
“My beautiful baby sister... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x,” she posted with the snap of them making funny scrunched up faces.
Sisters Peaches and Fifi Geldof
As well as Fifi, Peaches was also sister to 23-year-old Pixie, and half-sister Tiger Lily who is fathered by late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence. Just one week ago, on Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom, Fifi shared an image of herself being cuddled by her late parent, Paula Yates. The TV presenter died from a heroin overdose in 2000.
“Thinking of her today and always. #mothersday,” the caption read on the picture and video-sharing website.
Peaches’ Live Aid organiser dad Bob Geldof released a statement about her death yesterday, revealing his anguish at her passing.
The siblings were the children of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates
“We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us,” he wrote. “Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is.
"Tom and sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.”
Bob Geldof speaks about Peaches' death:
Meanwhile her husband Tom from British band S.C.U.M. shared some words of his won. He focussed his attentions on their children Astala, who is almost two, and Phaedra, nearly one.
“"I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever,” he said.
