Halle Berry is making her return to TV with a role in new sci-fi series Extant.
This week, the former Bond girl delighted fans as she appeared in the trailer for the CBS show, playing recently-returned astronaut Molly Watts.
The three-minute clip revealed quite a few details about the drama, starting with scenes of Molly in her aircraft on a solo mission. Despite insisting that she spent the year-long operation alone, viewers see her interact with a mysterious man on the spacecraft, and later learn that Molly is pregnant.

Halle's character returns to Earth and tries to reconnect with her family, while keeping her pregnancy a secret from her husband and son, who is coincidentally, a robot.

The 47-year-old actress hit the red carpet on Wednesday to promote Extant and was seen attending the CBS Upfront in New York City. Arriving at Carnegie Hall, Halle opted to go casual chic, wearing a loose fitting Daimon grey top and Sorella charcoal cigarette trousers. The mother-of-one completed her look with silver stiletto heels and a low black waist belt.

Halle happily signed autographs for the cheering fans who were stationed outside the Midtown Manhattan convert venue, and posed for photographs before going in for the presentation.
CBS formally announced which shows would be returning or making their debut soon, including Extant which is set to premiere in the US on 9 July.
Celebrities, mainly those from the programmes, came out in full force to show their support and get fans excited — including Josh Duhamel, Sharon Osbourne, Allison Janney, Anna Faris and Morgan Freeman.
