Carole Middleton made a stylish appearance at Wimbledon on Friday accompanied by her husband Michael.

Prince George's grandmother stepped out in an elegant mint blazer and matching skirt and accessorised her outfit with a pale pink snakeskin-effect handbag and nude court shoes.

Carole and Michael took their places in the Royal Box alongside broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan and his wife Helen Joyce, House of Commons Speaker John Bercow and former England rugby star Matt Dawson.

Carole was seated next to rugby player and A Question of Sport team captain Matt Dawson, who had brought his mother along to see the match.

Excited to have treated his mum to courtside seats, Matt posted a selfie of the pair with the caption "I'm auditioning for son of the year!"
