When people don't answer texts or emails, it's usually because those messages are raising questions that they don't know how to answer. Either they strike right to the heart of that person's indecision or they strike a nerve because they know that, to answer honestly, they're going to have to risk causing offence. Silences speak volumes. Wherever we encounter them, we should try to be sensitive. Your emotional life will benefit greatly now, if you'll try to be willing to hear what's not being said!

The band originally received criticism for their provocative image but they became an international success, being nominated for a Grammy in 2007.
The success gave Nicole an opportunity to work on her solo career but she decided to shelve her album in order to work on more records with the Dolls.
In 2009 Nicole was asked to record a pop version of Jai Ho, the Oscar-winning song from Slumdog Millionaire, and this helped to build her name as a solo artist.
The next year Nicole won the seventh season of America's Dancing With The Stars and in 2011 finally released her debut album, Killer Love. Several songs from the album hit the UK top three, including Don't Hold Your Breath which went in at number one.
She went on to become a judge on the American version of The X Factor before in 2012 taking over a permanent judging spot on Britain's The X Factor.
Nicole works regularly with various charities, and in 2013 was honoured by the Harvard Foundation as 2013 Artist of the Year for her contributions in performing arts, support for breast cancer research and initiatives for adults and children with special needs.
Nicole has been in an on-again-off-again relationship with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton since 2007.
