David Beckham: "Me and the boys at our first ever World Cup final, great day!"
Before the match got under way, David proudly posed for a photograph with his children, before sharing it with his Facebook fans. "Me and the boys at our first ever World Cup final, great day!" he wrote alongside.
The three boys went all out in their support for Argentina, each wearing team shirts with Lionel Messi's name on the back. David, 39, chose to keep his allegiances to himself, although he did also wear blue – a denim shirt.

But despite the backing of the Beckhams, there was disappointment for Argentina on the night. Germany won the match 1-0, with a late goal during extra time by Mario Gotze, and lifted the World Cup.
David was one of a number of famous faces in the stadium for the match; Gisele Bündchen, Rihanna and Shakira were just some of the stars watching from the stands.
