Prince Harry's former girlfriend Chelsy Davy may be set to announce her engagement to her beau Charles Goode, according to new reports.
The blonde bombshell, who dated Harry on-off from 2004 to 2010, has reportedly been travelling around Africa with her society jeweller boyfriend – and friends close to the couple suspect that Charles may have popped the question.
"He made it pretty clear before he left for Africa that he wants to marry Chelsy," an insider told the Mail on Sunday. "He is off-comms out there, so if there is an announcement it will come this week when they return home."

Chelsy Davy and Charles Goode have been travelling around Africa where the jeweller may have proposed
Chelsy, who was born in Zimbabwe and currently works as a lawyer in London, is said to have travelled around Zambia, Mozambique, and Malawi with her boyfriend. The couple enjoyed fishing, trekking, and going on safari but according to the newspaper, Charles' friends believe that he chose a special place to propose.
Insiders said that the jeweller – of family business Goode & Son – may well have got down on one knee when he and Chelsy, 28, were at the summit of Mount Mulanje in Malawi.
Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry were together for six years and are still good friends
Chelsy is said to have broken up with Harry after six years together because she didn't want to lead a royal life. The pair have remained close, however, and Chelsy attended Prince William and Kate's wedding in 2011 – one year after she and Harry went their separate ways.
At the time, the former flames were believed to be heading towards a reconciliation but Harry stated that he was a single man.
Chelsy is also believed to be attending the prince's upcoming 30th birthday party in September, which has reportedly been organised by his sister-in-law Kate.
Harry has since dated dance graduate Cressida Bonas, but the couple broke up last April after two years together.
