Amal Clooney has bought her new husband George a thoughtful present that will bring back memories of their romantic Venitian wedding every time he uses them.
The newlywed has gifted her other half a set of swanky Murano cocktail glasses, according to E! News.
The glasses are understood to be the exact same ones as those used in the dashing couple's wedding festivities, and the set is worth around $3,700, according to the report.
"Amal loves the idea of them having the same cocktail glasses that they use at the Cipriani Hotel in Venice," a source told E!.
"George admired them every time he looked at them during the wedding celebrations and they didn't have time to go shopping in Venice, so she's ordered them in as a post-wedding gift for him," they continued.
"It means that every time they curl up with a cocktail at home they’ll think of their wedding and be reminded of all the happy memories."
Amal, 36, also splashed out on a 12-piece set of matching silk napkins and hand-crafted napkin holders to match the glasses for her new hubby.
The human rights lawyer, who has now officially taken George's surname, is currently working in the Greek capital, Athens. Amal has met with the Greek government and culture officials to discuss the options available to help bring back the Elgin marbles - a collection of classical Greek marble sculptures - from the British Museum.
But she didn't let work get in the way of making the grand gesture for her new husband, who has also returned to work since the couple's four-day wedding celebrations.
Last week George attended a special presentation of his new film Tomorrowland at the annual New York Comic Con.
