Beyoncé Knowles shared a heart-warming photo of her daughter Blue Ivy at her sister Solange's wedding. The singer took to Instagram to post the sweet snap, which seemed to show her two-year-old play a starring role in the nuptials.

Holding up what may well have been the rings to the blushing bride, Blue Ivy was pictured gazing up at her beautiful auntie. In keeping with the all-white theme, the young girl was dressed in a silver white frock that featured a dainty, petal skirt.

Beyoncé left the photo uncaptioned, and proudly shared the endearing moment with her 20million fans on the social media site, instantly gaining thousands of "likes".

The image was the latest in a series of photos Beyoncé shared online of her younger sister Solange and her new husband Alan Ferguson.

The bride, 28, and her video director beau tied the knot on Sunday at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans. Standing in front of 200 guests, the couple said "I do" in the romantic, rustic venue.

Channelling a regal look on her wedding day, Solange opted to wear a simple and classic floor-length white gown with an attached cape. Her husband matched her in a crisp white suit, choosing to wear a smart buttoned up shirt without a tie.

The bridal party, including Beyoncé and mum Tina Knowles, strike a pose

Judging by the wedding album posted online, Solange and Alan looked to have arrived at the opera house together, riding white vintage bicycles. The bride wore a plunging white playsuit for the pre-ceremony trip.

Beyoncé, meanwhile, donned a figure-hugging, strappy white dress for the nuptials, while her husband Jay Z looked sharp in a white suit.

The bridal party posed for an empowering group photo, which showed Solange standing in the middle, flanked by Beyoncé and her mum Tina Knowles, and her other female friends and relatives.
