Robert Pattinson gives FKA Twigs a 'promise ring'

by hellomagazine.com

They've only been dating since the summer, but it seems things are getting serious between Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs. The besotted actor is reported to have given his girlfriend, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, a promise ring as a sign of his commitment.

A friend of the couple said that they have both been wearing matching rings since December, and it could mean that an engagement is coming in the near future.

"He wants to marry her," the source told People magazine. "They are inseparable when they are together. They live at his house."

Despite staying quiet about his personal life, Robert is said to be "smitten" with the singer, with his friend describing him as "much more calm and happy than before."

Robert and Tahliah have been dating since July. The Twilight star then joined his new girlfriend on her European tour in October and reportedly took her home to meet his parents at Christmas.

The couple were last spotted together at the Brit Awards in February, where FKA Twigs was nominated for the British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act awards.

While Robert hasn't spoken about their relationship, Tahliah gave a candid interview in December where she revealed just how much the actor means to her – even if she does now have to deal with paparazzi and press intrusion.

"I look uncomfortable because I am uncomfortable. But then it's like, is this person in my life worth that? And he is without question… In comparison to how happy I am. And how I feel with him. It's 100 per cent worth it," she told The Guardian.

"That side of my life (the paparazzi) is nothing to do with me. That's, like, that is the… side of life of the man that I love. And… when that started happening I had to… Because that is the opposite of who I am as a person, and it was weird."
