Victoria Beckham meets 'inspiring' Queen Rania at New York summit

Fashion queen Victoria Beckham rubbed shoulders with real life royalty on Sunday as she attended this year’s Social Good Summit in New York City. The fashion designer was seen greeting and even joining hands with Queen Rania of Jordan as they participated in the event, which explores how technology is being used for social good around the world.Victoria, 41, was clearly impressed with Jordan’s beautiful queen, tweeting a photograph of the pair chatting with the caption: "Beautiful, inspiring mother, @QueenRania of Jordan. #globalgoals #UNGA #action2015 @UNAIDS."

She also tweeted in support of the cause: "We must commit to ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030" - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon @UNAIDS #UNGA #globalgoals. "One half of Brand Beckham – which a new study recently revealed is worth an estimated £500million – is a UN International Goodwill Ambassador and took to the podium at the conference.

David Beckham praised his wife for her 'powerful speech'

Her husband David Beckham didn't waste any time in praising his wife for her "powerful speech", posting a snap of her on stage with a touching message: "Proud of my wife today speaking at the UN Head quarters ... Powerful speech along with some other incredible and powerful women on that stage ... Right to the point about Our fight against HIV / AIDS @unitednations @unicef @victoriabeckham. "Mum-of-four Victoria was dressed for business in a monochrome outfit featuring a chic jumper over a crisp white shirt, tailored black trousers and matching loafers. She swept her brunette locks into a smart updo and went for a smokey eye to complete the look.

Victoria posted a snap of herself with Jordan's 'inspiring' Queen Rania

Queen Rania, meanwhile, wore a white dress cinched in at the waist with a belt, and nude heels.

Victoria and Rania were joined on stage by Mozambican politician and humanitarian Graca Machel, when the ladies gave a united show by joining hands on stage. "Powerful woman Graca Machel, politician and humanitarian. #globalgoals #UNGA #action2015 @UNAIDS," Victoria later tweeted of the politician, who is also the widow of former South African president Nelson Mandela.
